Abstract

This study investigates the multifaceted factors contributing to teacher readiness, specifically focusing on the roles of creative assessments, instructional quality, and teachers' attitudes toward creative learning. Employing a structural equation modeling (SEM) approach, this research aims to elucidate the direct and indirect relationships among these variables. The increasing emphasis on creativity in education necessitates a deeper understanding of how to prepare teachers effectively to cultivate these skills in students. Creative assessments are crucial for evaluating higher-order thinking and divergent solutions, moving beyond traditional rote learning [14]. Instructional quality, encompassing effective teaching strategies and engaging learning environments, directly impacts student outcomes and teacher efficacy [7, 30]. Furthermore, teachers' own attitudes towards creative learning significantly shape their pedagogical practices and willingness to integrate innovative approaches [68]. This study posits that positive attitudes toward creative learning will mediate the relationship between creative assessments and instructional quality, ultimately enhancing teacher readiness. The findings of this study will offer valuable insights for teacher education programs, professional development initiatives, and policy-makers aiming to foster a more creative and adaptable teaching workforce.
