The increasing complexity of cloud-native infrastructures has intensified the demand for intelligent operational frameworks capable of automating software delivery, infrastructure management, reliability assurance, and incident response. Traditional DevOps practices, while effective in accelerating deployment cycles and enhancing collaboration, face significant limitations in handling dynamic cloud-scale environments characterized by distributed workloads, microservices architectures, and continuous operational variability. This research investigates the integration of Artificial Intelligence (AI), Machine Learning (ML), and Site Reliability Engineering (SRE) within autonomous DevOps systems designed for next-generation cloud infrastructures. The study synthesizes contemporary DevOps frameworks, AI-driven operational models, predictive analytics techniques, and reliability engineering methodologies to establish a unified analytical framework for autonomous cloud operations. A qualitative analytical methodology based exclusively on existing literature is employed to examine operational capabilities, predictive automation mechanisms, intelligent monitoring strategies, and reliability optimization techniques. The research identifies how AI-enhanced DevOps systems facilitate predictive incident management, resource optimization, automated remediation, deployment intelligence, and adaptive scalability. Furthermore, the study critically evaluates implementation challenges including technical debt, organizational resistance, explainability limitations, data quality concerns, and governance complexities. Findings demonstrate that autonomous DevOps ecosystems significantly improve deployment efficiency, system resilience, infrastructure adaptability, and operational sustainability when supported by robust SRE practices and ML-driven decision systems. The paper contributes a comprehensive conceptual framework for integrating intelligent automation into DevOps ecosystems while outlining future research directions in self-healing cloud-native infrastructures and adaptive operational intelligence.
