Abstract

Robust affective speech interpretation is a critical component of modern human–machine interaction systems, enabling computational frameworks to recognize, interpret, and respond to human emotional states embedded in speech signals. This research proposes an advanced neural computation-based framework for affective speech interpretation, integrating principles of recurrent neural optimization, energy-based modeling, and decentralized neural control architectures. The study positions speech emotion recognition as a nonlinear optimization and dynamic system modeling problem, where emotional states are inferred through structured transformations of acoustic feature spaces.
The proposed framework builds upon foundational neural computation theories such as Hopfield energy minimization networks and gradient-based neural optimization models, which provide a mathematical basis for solving complex classification and decision-making problems (Hopfield and Tank, 1985; Zhang and Constantinides, 1992). These models are extended to handle temporal speech dynamics using recurrent and adaptive neural structures capable of learning long-range dependencies in vocal signals. The system further incorporates decentralized neural learning principles, enabling scalability in multi-speaker and multi-environment conditions.
A key contribution of this work is the integration of neural optimization systems for robust feature mapping in affective speech interpretation. Drawing on prior research in neural control systems and signal processing optimization, the framework transforms speech signals into high-dimensional emotional manifolds where classification is performed through energy minimization and recurrent convergence dynamics (Anoop et al., 2018). This enables improved robustness against noise, speaker variability, and emotional ambiguity.
The findings suggest that automated neural computation systems significantly enhance the stability and accuracy of affective speech interpretation, particularly in dynamic and uncertain acoustic environments. However, challenges remain in computational complexity, convergence stability, and interpretability of neural energy states. The study concludes that hybrid neural computation architectures provide a promising direction for scalable and robust emotion-aware speech systems in real-world applications.
