Experience-Oriented Neural Decision Architecture for Efficient Operational Planning and Demand Estimation

Modern operational environments require intelligent decision systems capable of managing uncertainty, improving planning accuracy, and estimating future demand with high reliability. Conventional operational planning approaches frequently depend on historical analysis and predefined decision rules, which may become ineffective when organizations encounter dynamic market conditions, unpredictable resource requirements, and rapidly changing operational patterns. This research proposes an Experience-Oriented Neural Decision Architecture (EONDA) designed to strengthen operational planning and demand estimation through the integration of neural learning, experience-based adaptation, and intelligent decision optimization.
The proposed architecture conceptualizes operational intelligence as a continuous learning process in which previous experiences, real-time observations, and predictive analysis collectively contribute to improved future decisions. The framework combines experience extraction, neural decision modeling, demand estimation, and adaptive feedback mechanisms to create a self-improving operational planning environment. Unlike static forecasting systems, the proposed architecture enables decision models to evolve through accumulated operational knowledge.
The study develops a conceptual methodology based on principles derived from intelligent diagnosis systems, adaptive monitoring frameworks, and reinforcement-oriented forecasting approaches. Research on deep reinforcement learning demonstrates the potential of experience-driven models in improving forecasting reliability and optimization performance in complex supply chain environments (Viswanathan et al., 2025). Similarly, studies on UAV fault diagnosis and intelligent monitoring illustrate the importance of continuous data interpretation and adaptive decision mechanisms for reliable system operation (GAO et al., 2012; Liu, 2019).
The findings indicate that an experience-oriented neural architecture can enhance operational planning by improving prediction accuracy, reducing uncertainty, and enabling proactive decision-making. The framework supports applications in industrial coordination, logistics planning, autonomous systems, and resource management. However, challenges remain regarding data quality, computational complexity, model transparency, and integration with existing operational infrastructures.
This research contributes a theoretical foundation for developing next-generation operational intelligence systems where experience accumulation and neural decision processes work together to improve planning efficiency and demand estimation reliability.
